Tuesday and Thursday from Noon–1:00 PM

Description: These classes offer a form of conditioning that combines resistance training and high intensity cardio. They are designed to be easy to follow for all levels and targets muscular strength and endurance development, while improving cardiovascular fitness.

Summer 2017 Cross Country POWER Training Camp (deadline May 26)

CAMP TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION

  • Endurance training through track style runs
  • Olympic style weightlifting (including power clean, snatch and jerk exercises)
  • Event specific power and strength training
  • Acceleration and maximum speed development
  • Running/sprinting mechanics
  • Nutrient timing to optimize recovery
  • Performance evaluation and re-evaluation

SUMMER 2017 CROSS COUNTRY POWER TRAINING CAMP

  • Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Dates: June 5–August 3, 2017 * No sessions the week of July 4 (Monday, July 3, Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6)
  • Duration: 8-weeks; 24 total training sessions
