Bismarck POWER to host fall baseball league
Sanford POWER in Bismarck is organizing a Fall Baseball League designed to give athletes the opportunity to continue their development in baseball while receiving instruction during games from collegiate coaches and players.
Open to players in Grades 5-12, the league is presented in conjunction with the University of Mary and the Ben Berg Baseball Academy. Cost is $100 per player, which includes a shirt. (Refunds will not be available.)
There will be 12-14 players per team and 5-10 teams per division. Games will be played Sundays from Sept. 8-Oct. 6.
The age divisions are:
- AA (Grades 5 and 6)
- AAA (Grades 7, 8 and 9)
- Majors (Grades 10, 11 and 12)
The AA division will played at Tatley-Eagles Park, while the AAA and Majors divisions will be rotated between the Sanford Sports Complex and Haaland Field at Cottonwood Park.
Teams will be determined prior to Sept. 1 and will be available on Ben Berg Academy website.
